Both the brothers, Shiladitya & Debaditya Chaudhury, have a lot in common. Apart from their love for music and both being acclaimed musicians, their penchant for good food made them travel both globally, quite extensively. With immense knowledge of global cuisine and to hone their entrepreneurial skills, opting to start their own food business was the best possible option for them. Debaditya started with Chowman in 2010, which today is becoming one of the largest and most loved Chinese restaurant. Shiladitya joined hands with Debaditya and started India’s first period dining restaurant chain, Oudh 1590 in the year 2013, offering authentic royal delicacies from the time of the Nawabs. Oudh 1590 has created a mark from the word go and is focussing now on their expansion plans, nationally, in a phased manner.

Their passion for both food and music witnessed its fruition with Chapter 2, Kolkata’s first and only Retro Dining Restaurant offering unmatched continental cuisine with Live music, every evening. Chapter 2, which opened its doors in 2016, has been conceived as a humble tribute to Park Street’s food and music culture of the 40s to 60s. Chapter 2 serves some signature items and cocktails, which the patrons yearn for.
