Having set the holy grail and delving into a lot of research on what should feature on the menu, the two, who are brothers as well, threw open the doors of the diner in 2016 that has fast become the hotspot for authentic continental and Anglo-Indian cuisine. Chapter 2’s ambience with its generous dash of retro vibes and live music has become the go-to place for fans of great food in a 70s atmosphere.
Soak Up Some Retro Style
Step inside and the distinctly Park Street feel is unmissable. For one, the décor is clearly 70s-style inspired with plenty of organic forms and unconventionally sinuous curves in the furniture pieces. It has bold pop art on the walls, accented light fixtures, and tufted retro-inspired upholstered seating. There’s a dedicated corner for live music. Let’s just say it’s a blast of bohemian chic with disco glam.
Next up is the menu that has its all-time favourites from cuisines that are a legacy of the city’s rich past and a tribute to the yesteryear’s culture of Park Street. I remember the glorious days of dining out with parents at the Sky Room or at Trincas with its legendary singers and musicians. Simple family outings turned into memorable evenings.”
